Parish values: God 21 September 2024

For me there is no doubt that God is acknowledged as a value in a parish.
I will make it more complicated: "Is the will of God a value?"
I am hearing answers like, "What is the will of God? I do not know it."

Where did I hear that before, "We do not know the answer?"
Indeed, from the pharisees when Jesus asked them a question.

Brothers and Sisters

Jesus says, my brothers and sisters are those who are doing the will of the Father. (e.g. Matt 12:50)

Since I desire to be a brother of Jesus, I desire to do the will of God. So the will of God matters to me.
I do know a few things which are the will of God. Those should be moral values for me. Things I feel invited and perhaps obliged to care for. I wish to be a brother of Jesus.

Prayer

Jesus, please send your Spirit. That I may know the will of my heavenly Father.
