Parish: Answer To Prayer 18 September 2024

Sometimes I pray and ask God for a favor or help with a problem. How is God supposed to answer my prayer?

I may force God to perform a supernatural miracle. No other person and certainly not the parish may be involved. I am good. And God is all-powerful and can do anything.
My attitude may disqualify various solutions for my need. I only allow superficial miracles.

Place To Learn

Among the harder things in life is learning new skills and habits.
In my opinion, a parish could be a place where I can be helped to 'repent'. I need a safe place to practice and improve. A place of love, acceptance, learning, growing, and serving.

Prayer

Jesus, I ask for a place where believers can be helped with maturing in life and service.
