Mat 21:15 At the sight of the wonderful things he did
and of the children shouting,
'Hosanna to the son of David' in the Temple,
the chief priests and the scribes were indignant
and said to him,
Mat 21:16 'Do you hear what they are saying?'

It is easy to recognize some my own wrong responses. How easy is it to be critical or legalistic, and miss the good things.
Do I rejoice about the wonderful things Jesus does in my neighborhood?
What would today's wonderful things be? Even my memories are distorted by my wrong focus.

For sure I am too critical at others in my church and in life. I should see the wonderful things they do.

Prayer

Jesus, I ask forgiveness for my critical thoughts on others and myself.
