Mat 26:6 Jesus was at Bethany in the house of Simon, a man who had suffered from a virulent skin-disease, ...
I assume because it says 'had suffered' that this Simon had been healed by Jesus. I never noticed this before.

Insecure

The little story of the visit of Jesus and company to the house of Simon is told in all four of the Gospels. And the stories differ quite a bit. Actually none of the stories tells if Simon had been healed by Jesus. He was a Pharisee. And he still was somewhat fearful to receive Jesus in his house.
I can relate to that. I also would be somewhat distant towards a miraculous healer. And I also may be quite distant to Jesus.
Jesus however is patient with Simon and with me as well.
