Sometimes art connects me to history. Not far from our home I found this statue. I liked it and so I moved it to my garden. So far so good.

I could not really read the characters written at the column. Neither Google translate could decipher them. A friend of us suggested it might be from Egypt.

What story

I am still not sure. It could say: Lies don't run very far.
