Luke 10:25-37 Samaritan 6 Oct 2025
Luk 10:25 And now a lawyer stood up and, to test him, asked,
'Master, what must I do to inherit eternal life?'

with all your soul,
with all your strength,
and with all your mind,
and your neighbor as yourself.'
28 Jesus said to him,
'You have answered right, do this and life is yours.'

Observations
- Early in the mornings I pray with the daily gospel reading (as in the Catholic Mass)
This story and its wording reminds to the story of the rich young man.
I observe that the follow up questions bring the lawyer and the rich young man in trouble. It seems they look for excuses for not 'having to follow Jesus'. And I am no better.
God ask us to love Him with four attributes. Each attribute is qualified with an 'All.'
I must love my neighbor as myself.
Unbelievers
Many unbelievers do far better than I with the 'love your neighbor.'
Prayer
Jesus, guide me into loving my neighbors. Millet first.
