Matthew 24:6-8. Wars and Famines 22 Oct 2023

Mat 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars;
see that you are not alarmed,
for this is something that must happen,
but the end will not be yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation will fight against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Mat 24:8 All this is only the beginning of the birth-pangs.

We are indeed hearing about wars, famines and earthquakes in various places. And then Jesus says, "It is only the beginning of birth-pangs." As if the worst is still to come.
