Matthew 24:1-2. End Of Sacrificing. 19 Oct 2023

Mat 24:1 Jesus left the Temple,
and as he was going away
his disciples came up to draw his attention to the Temple buildings.
2 He said to them in reply,
'You see all these?
In truth I tell you,
not a single stone here will be left on another:
everything will be pulled down.'

God had ordered the Jewish people to bring sacrifices. Every day. For many years the sacrifices were done in the Temple. And then about the year 70, the temple was demolished, because of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans. Hundreds of thousands of Jews perished in that period.
The sacrificing ended.

Jesus, protect Jerusalem from being a sacrifice.
