Matthew 22:41-46. Christ: Son Of David 4 Oct 2023

Mat 22:41 While the Pharisees were gathered round,
Jesus put to them this question,
42 'What is your opinion about the Christ? Whose son is he?'
They told him, 'David's.'
43 He said to them,
'Then how is it that David,
moved by the Spirit,
calls him Lord,
where he says:
44 The Lord declared to my Lord,
take your seat at my right hand,
till I have made your enemies your footstool?
45 'If David calls him Lord,
how then can he be his son?'
46 No one could think of anything to say in reply,
and from that day no one dared to ask him any further questions.

It is interesting to read that David was moved by the Spirit. And it appears from the text that the Pharisees understood pretty well that the 'Spirit' was the voice of God.
It seems that the Pharisees did not like to hear the 'Spirit' speaking.
There is a good chance I am not better than they. Do I really dare to ask God a question and then listen properly?
