Mat 23:1 Then addressing the crowds and his disciples Jesus said,
2 'The scribes and the Pharisees occupy the chair of Moses.
3 You must therefore do and observe what they tell you;
but do not be guided by what they do,
since they do not practice what they preach.

What am I talking about frequently, and where at the same time I fail to do it myself? Perhaps more than a few things.
The worst of all is when I expect others to do what I can't do myself.

I am impressed with the authority Jesus identifies with the scribes and Pharisees.

Jesus, teach me respect for authority and authenticity.
