Matthew 23:8. Entitling A Title 7 Oct 2023

Mat 23:8 'You, however,
must not allow yourselves to be called Rabbi,
since you have only one Master,
and you are all brothers.

It would be easy to deal with this verse together with more succeeding verses. This verse 8 says some important things.

I learn that a Rabbi is a master above others. Jesus says here to the crowds and disciples: you are all brothers and sisters. I am not anyone else's master. It is already hard enough to master myself.

Prayer

Jesus, please be my master.
