By times we may feel manipulated, brought into a position where we have no choice. In Eph 6:12 it says: 'For it is not against human enemies that we have to struggle ... but against spirits of evil in the HEAVENS.'

Life in Heaven

Heaven could of course mean simply 'in the clouds'. I understand however that in the heavens there is a spiritual war. And it affects me. Saint Paul recommends a long list with 'spiritual armor'. In a compact form:
Live in truth, live with justice, work for the gospel of peace, have faith, baptism (salvation), the sword of the Spirit (God's word), pray and beg in the spirit, night watches, continuous prayer, and asking others for prayer for the mission which God has entrusted to us.

Prayer

Come Holy Spirit, teach me and others to do everything as recommended in the spiritual armor of Saint Paul (Eph 6:10-20) so that I and many may be led by the spirit of eternal love.
