Where 2 or 3 agree

When I want to make an important decision together with Millet (my wife) we need to agree. If we do not agree we may end up with feeling annoyed and not making any decision.

Jesus said in Matthew 18:19 if two of you on earth agree to ask anything at all, it will be granted to you by my Father in heaven.

Thus I am afraid that Father God has a quiet time, for it is very seldom when two people agree on something completely.

A model for practical unity.

When we can not yet reach a perfect unity there is a workaround. We can come to a common agreement and choose for that. That sounds like a compromise. On important things we should not easily compromise. But frequently some problem needs an instant solution. For those cases we can choose a commonly agreed action. A mature team will share in the responsibility for the chosen option.
