God Almighty

Some other words with the same meaning are omnipotent and supreme. They are attributes of God. Strange enough we can't experience all God's might here on earth. Or can we?

Catholic Catechism

The CCC (Catechism of the Catholic Church) does not explain almighty. God Almighty is mentioned in the Creed.

Creator

I believe that God created the world and the universe. A god who can create a universe has a considerable power. The power to create.

Would I love a God who rules over me?

Would you love someone who overpowers you? Would you experience that as love?

How to address the Almighty?

Of course power attracts me. I am also fearful for power.
I prefer a simple: Have mercy on us.
