Matthew 25:13-18. Usage of Money 9 Nov 2023

Mat 25:13 So stay awake,
because you do not know either the day or the hour.
14 'It (the kingdom) is like a man about to go abroad
who summoned his servants and entrusted his property to them.
15 To one he gave five talents,
to another two,
to a third one,
each in proportion to his ability.
Then he set out on his journey.
16 The man who had received the five talent
promptly went and traded with them and made five more.
17 The man who had received two
made two more in the same way.
18 But the man who had received one
went off and dug a hole in the ground
and hid his master's money."

Today it is about money entrusted to me. And I need to trade with that money. There is a lesson for me, for I am a bit afraid to invest money. Not using my 'talent' will have consequences.

Jesus, teach me the value of my talents and how to use them.
