Matthew 25:10-12. In Truth 8 Nov 2023
Mat 25:10 They had gone off to buy it when the bridegroom arrived.
Those who were ready went in with him
to the wedding hall and the door was closed.
11 The other attendants arrived later.
"Lord, Lord," they said,
"open the door for us."
12 But he replied,
"In truth I tell you, I do not know you."

When Jesus says, 'In truth', it must be important. It appears that the foolish attendees were too late because they had not brought oil.
Now, the lamps in the temple burn oil. That may describe the place of prayer where we get to know God. And thus only the ones who know God can enter the wedding hall.
Prayer
Jesus, I'd love to learn how to worship you.
