Matthew 25:28-30. Good-For-Nothing 13 Nov 2023

Mat 25:28 So now, take the talent from him
and give it to the man who has the ten talents.
29 For to everyone who has will be given more,
and he will have more than enough;
but anyone who has not,
will be deprived even of what he has.
30 As for this good-for-nothing servant,
throw him into the darkness outside,
where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth."

Who among us never feels good-for-nothing? So many things I try, simply fail and cause trouble. And now there is a severe punishment for me. I am lost.

I desire help. Matthew chapter 25 brings everything back to myself. No parents, no coach, no teacher, no church, no redeemer. I am alone before my master, and he rejects me, unless I use my talent.

Prayer

Jesus, I ask for help for the many good-for-nothing servants. How can I help?
