Matthew 26:3-5. Prophet's Fate 20 Nov 2023

Mat 26:3 Then the chief priests
and the elders of the people
assembled in the palace of the high priest,
whose name was Caiaphas,
4 and made plans to arrest Jesus by some trick
and have him put to death.
5 They said, however,
'It must not be during the festivities;
there must be no disturbance among the people.'

A person is condemned. Without a fair trial. Without hearing the accused one.

It is often the fate of a prophet. It happens everywhere: with Jews, Christians, Muslims, in politics, companies, families, communities and with friends.
The truth hurts.

Prayer

Jesus, show me where I judge and hurt others.
