Mat 26:26 Now as they were eating,
Jesus took bread,
and when he had said the blessing
he broke it
and gave it to the disciples.
'Take it and eat,'
he said,
'this is my body.'

We celebrate this event as Catholics very solemn. And see here that special event: 'AS THEY WERE EATING.' I imagine the mouth of the disciples still filled with Easter lamb's meat. Jesus took 'some' bread, spoke the blessing. Perhaps a "Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has brought forth bread from the earth."
Which is the normal Jewish blessing.

And then, 'Take it and eat. This is my body.'

Jesus, thank you for your down to earth actions.
