Matthew 1:18-25. First Dream 14 Nov 2022

Saint Joseph had decided to separate from Mary, who was unexpectedly pregnant. An extraordinary dream prevented him from doing so. Joseph recognized an angel of God in his dream. And he did what the angel told him. He took Mary as his wife and Jesus as his son. Mary gave birth and Joseph named the son Jesus.

Notice: it is Joseph, Joseph, Joseph who is the center of the action. Joseph did not speak a single word. He acted however.

Prayer

God, may it be your word that leads to action in my life. Make me your servant.

I am intrigued by Joseph's obedience.
