'Then Jesus appeared: he came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.'

Yes, the one who is supposed to baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. He had a purpose. He came to be baptized Himself. I do not know His thoughts. I read His intention. He sought a place of grace and mercy.

He did not come just with curiosity. He came with the intention to receive the grace of God.

Prayer

God, teach me to act with proper intention, the intention to be baptized and to really receive the grace as promised.

Self Evaluation

What are my intentions? Do I really act to conquer the graces which God likes to pour out over my life?
