PSALM 15 - Beautiful Life 16 Nov 2019

The beginning of psalm 15 is similar to psalm 24, which is used often in the Catholic liturgy. Interestingly psalm 24 does not answer the question raised: "Who can dwell on God's holy mountain." The latter speaks of the King of Glory who enters through the gates.

Psalm 15 however lists instruction. And it is not easy to qualify. Read it yourself:

Psalm 15

1 [Psalm Of David]
Yahweh, who can find a home in your tent,
who can dwell on your holy mountain?
2 Whoever lives blamelessly, who acts uprightly,
who speaks the truth from the heart,
3 who keeps the tongue under control,
who does not wrong a comrade,
who casts no discredit on a neighbour,
4 who looks with scorn on the vile,
but honours those who fear Yahweh,
who stands by an oath at any cost,
5 who asks no interest on loans,
who takes no bribe to harm the innocent.
No one who so acts can ever be shaken.
at your right hand delight for ever.
