PSALM 13 - How long? 14 Nov 2019

Waiting is always frustrating. Waiting in prayer is simply hard. We do not know how to pray. Although Jesus provided us a simple prayer.
We are however people living with a promise. Here on earth our faith is tested. In the time of waiting for God's answers, the best thing we can do is love both God and the neighbour.
In my relationship with Millet, our love grows with waiting in patience. Similarly, the longer I wait patiently for God, the stronger my love will grow. Such is called silent prayer. I start most days with 20 minutes silent prayer. I can not explain how. But in this time my love for my fellow people grows. And it is not even by the quality of my prayer.

Psalm 13

1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David]
How long, Yahweh, will you forget me? For ever?
How long will you turn away your face from me?
2 How long must I nurse rebellion in my soul,
sorrow in my heart day and night?
How long is the enemy to domineer over me?
3 Look down, answer me, Yahweh my God!
Give light to my eyes
or I shall fall into the sleep of death. 4 Or my foe will boast, 'I have overpowered him,'
and my enemy have the joy of seeing me stumble.
5 As for me, I trust in your faithful love, Yahweh.
Let my heart delight in your saving
