Genesis 3:8-13 The aftermath of their sin

8 The man and his wife heard the sound of Yahweh God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from Yahweh God among the trees 9 of the garden.
But Yahweh God called to the man. Where are you? he asked.
10 I heard the sound of you in the garden, he replied. I was afraid because I was 11 naked, so I hid.
Who told you that you were naked? he asked. Have you been 12 eating of the tree I forbade you to eat?
The man replied, It was the woman you 13 put with me; she gave me the fruit, and I ate it.
Then Yahweh God asked the woman, What is this you have done?
The woman replied, The serpent tempted me and I ate.

They failed to take responsibility.

Four problems around sin

1. I get afraid for the authority over me.
2. I feel ashamed for what I did. I feel like hiding.
3. I may fail to take responsibility. I may point to others.
4. I may damage relationships.
