Genesis 11 The tower of Babel

Actually the people on earth were afraid of being scattered over the world. They decided to build a stronghold.

People co-operated to build a tower reaching into heaven

Yahweh-God simply confused their speech (language). And the people just scattered over the world.

The text does not say that God condemned man. He observed: when they are united, they can do anything.
