Gen 1:6 God said,
'Let there be a vault through the middle of the waters to divide the waters in two.'
And so it was.
7 God made the vault,
and it divided the waters under the vault
from the waters above the vault.
8 God called the vault 'heaven'.
Evening came and morning came: the second day.

Google's AI says: 'A vault is a secure, often underground, room or container designed for storing valuables, or a self-supporting arched structure forming a ceiling or roof.'

Heaven's Creation

The vault was called 'Heaven'. Thus, there was water under and above the heaven. The heaven was located above the earth.

I do not understand how this works.
Possibilities: 1. translate sky instead of heaven; 2. heaven is quite nearby ... perhaps almost the place where we live. 3. heaven is in a different 'dimension' separated from the dimension of the earth. ...
