Matthew 13:28-30. Wheat and Darnel. 13 May 2023

Mat 13:28 He said to them (the laborers),
"Some enemy has done this."
And the laborers said,
"Do you want us to go and weed it out?"
29 But he said,
"No, because when you weed out the darnel
you might pull up the wheat with it.
30 Let them both grow till the harvest;
and at harvest time I shall say to the reapers:
First collect the darnel and tie it in bundles to be burnt,
then gather the wheat into my barn."

A normal person like me would think that God would be angry and irritated. God does not show any anger with the enemy or the darnel.

There is second important lesson. When I try to root out the darnel, I may damage the wheat. God waits for the right time.

Jesus, grant me wisdom how to deal with enemies.
