Matthew 13:10-12. Positive Listening 5 May 2023

Mat 13:10 Then the disciples went up to him and asked,
'Why do you talk to them in parables?'
11 In answer, he said, 'Because to you is granted
to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven,
but to them it is not granted.
12 Anyone who has will be given more and will have more than enough;
but anyone who has not will be deprived even of what he has.

Yes, the disciples choose to listen more and longer. Anyone could have gone to Jesus to hear more! But most did not. The choice is up to me.

What would mean: 'Anyone who has ...'? It is about hearing and understanding the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus, I like to understand your kingdom more.
