Matthew 13:20-21. Joyful Response 9 May 2023

Mat 13:20 The seed sown on patches of rock
is someone who hears the word and welcomes it at once with joy.
21 But such a person has no root deep down and does not last;
should some trial come, or some persecution on account of the word,
at once he falls away.

"Ja en Amen" is a literal Dutch translation for "Yes and Amen". The Dutch meaning reflects todays bible verses. It means an immediate, not meant, agreement with the speaker. Hoping that the speaker will stop talking. I will return as soon as possible to my own program.

It shall be clear that such an attitude does not build character. That requires a next level of faith.
