Matthew 13:16-17. Blessed Eyes and Ears 7 May 2023

Mat 13:16 But blessed are your eyes because they see,
your ears because they hear!
17 In truth I tell you,
many prophets and upright people longed to see what you see, and never saw it;
to hear what you hear, and never heard it.

Why is it that many prophets and many upright people desired to see and hear Jesus? I make a simple guess. They desired to see and hear God. They may have desired to know God more intimate.

Jesus, humbly I ask you for the grace to do the will of the Father.
