You shall love the Lord your God

With all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength.

Most weekday mornings I start the day with prayer. I take time to love God. Such is my intention.

Reflection

Today I tried to consider the goodness and love of God. He is a forgiving God. What touched me most today is that Jesus did not defend himself when He was accused by the High Priest and by the Roman Governor. He did not defend himself, nor complain, nor shout. In this specific case, the will of God the Father had to be done.

Jesus accepted. It had to happen. Jesus went the road to his crucifixion and death to redeem us. Therefore it was an ultimate act of goodness.
