Zechariah 12:2-3. That Day. 20 March 2025

Zec 12:2 Look, I shall make Jerusalem a cup
to set all the surrounding peoples reeling.
(That will be at the time of the siege of Jerusalem.)
3 When that day comes,
I shall make Jerusalem a stone too heavy for all the peoples to lift;
all those who try to lift it will hurt themselves severely,
although all the nations of the world will be massed against her.

When?

I thought the book of Zechariah was written after the exile. And here it speaks about 'all the nations who will turn against Jerusalem.'

It appears to me that the time described here is still in the future. It could happen soon.

Prayer

Jesus, today I pray for Jerusalem. Protect the city. Have mercy on the 'angry' nations. Teach us how to seek the will of God the Father.
