1Co 2:12 Now, the Spirit we have received
is not the spirit of the world
but God's own Spirit,
so that we may understand the lavish gifts God has given us.

He gave the Spirit, so that we are able to understand the wonderful gifts which God has given us. In the past and still continuing.

What did God give us?

Among others I can observe:
a) Christ who is the (new) Life.
b) Faith.
c) The gift of prayer.

Prayer

Jesus, deepen my understanding of what you have given me.
