Matthew 11:1. Marching Up 31 Mar 2023

Mat 11:1 When Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples
he moved on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

My first response is: Jesus commissioned and instructed his disciples, and next, He himself marches up and he did not wait for the disciples. I simply don't get it.

I assume that the disciples resisted. They did not yet trust the powers Jesus had planted in them.

Prayer

Jesus, teach me to move on.
