Matthew 10:5-6. House Of Israel 17 Mar 2023

Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent out, instructing them as follows:
'Do not make your way to gentile territory,
and do not enter any Samaritan town;
Mat 10:6 go instead to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.

Our thoughts may lead to quick conclusions. Perhaps the issue is quite simple. Galilee was not the heart of Israel. That might have been more near Jerusalem. The gentiles were very near: at the other side of the lake of Galilee. The Samaritans were just south, even on the way to Jerusalem. Jesus sent the disciples somewhat farter perhaps.

In a similar way, Catholics in the Netherlands might like to evangelize the people out of the church.
I am quite sure that actually the ones in the church first need conversion to the heart of Jesus.

Prayer

Jesus, I ask for new life in the church. Those ones need help to reach the standard they believe in.

Self Evaluation

Sure enough, I need conversion towards the kingdom.
