Uncertainty does not feel good. It raises doubt and fear in me. Strange enough, I trust the future.
First of all, there is a future. Second, the past has proven that the future differs only a tiny little bit from the not-so-long-ago. Stability is my hope for the future.
Actually I hope for a better future. Thus I need to deal with that uncertain thing, change. When I am a passive victim of the future, I will feel powerless. As soon as I take positive action myself, I feel better. Despite all uncertainties, some power has arrived to me. I influence my future.

Prayer

Jesus, turn my passivity into action. So that I can enjoy the life with an uncertain future today.
