Why?

The church needs to execute its mission under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Therefore the Holy Spirit loves to equip God's people.

Examples of gifts of the Spirit

Unity

The Holy Spirit gathers together a people. They are supposed to grow in unity and strength, so that they may be God's army of soldiers. Each one should participate as much as possible. Each one has something to give and contribute.

For today

Perhaps some of the gifts need some translation to fit in a modern Catholic Parish and to anticipate the needs of the present time.
