1Co 12:7 The particular manifestation of the Spirit
granted to each one
is to be used for the general good.

In other words, the gifts of the Spirit should be used for the good of the community, and not for personal advantage.

Manifestation Of The Spirit

What would be a manifestation of the Spirit? It might be an action where my fellow believers recognize the Holy Spirit at work. It could be a talent I acquired by prayer or by a sacrament, where others notice the gift as something new, not present before.
It may be given when my community (or the Holy Spirit) calls me into a new service or mission.

Jesus, thank you for caring for your community.
