Mat 14:27 But at once Jesus called out to them,
saying,
'Courage! It's me! Don't be afraid.'
28 It was Peter who answered.
'Lord,' he said,
'if it is you,
tell me to come to you across the water.'

Saint peter gives one of the most bold responses in the bible. Jesus had called out, 'Courage!'
Then there is an 'If it is you.' Actually, the Devil would have loved to see Saint Peter drowning.

Jesus, with you nothing is impossible. I desire to meet you. Tell me how to come to you. and across what.
