Matthew 15:22-24. Israel only 15 Jun 2023

Mat 15:22 And suddenly out came a Canaanite woman from that district
and started shouting,
'Lord, Son of David, take pity on me.
My daughter is tormented by a devil.'
23 But he said not a word in answer to her.
And his disciples went and pleaded with him, saying,
'Give her what she wants, because she keeps shouting after us.'
24 He said in reply,
'I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.'

Why are some people addressing Jesus as 'Son of David?' Would that just mean, 'a good man?' It was a Canaanite women speaking, seemingly not even Jewish.
Now when David had played the harp, some evil spirits had withdrawn from Saul.

I guess that is not a proper 'interpretation' of the bible text. Although, why not?

Give her what she wants, for she keeps shouting. Take pity on me ... while her daughter was tormented. The woman as well calls Jesus, Lord. And Jesus was and is master over evil spirits.
Jesus maintains: 'Only for Israel's lost sheep.' Did Jesus not come for my redemption?

Prayer

Jesus, how loud should I shout to you?

Only Israel
