Just being honest, I am more familiar with the Dutch language usage of nonchalant than with the English language usage. In the Dutch language the meaning is somewhat unfriendly like indifferent, clumsy and ill prepared. It may however be charming.

Getting Started

Some nonchalance is really helpful with starting some new project. It should not be to serious. There is little time for extensive preparations. It should work immediately. Some hands on work may boost the understanding from what is actually needed. It may get a team started.
Finally the first nonchalant work may be abandoned later on without damage or hurting anyone. It already has born fruits. Isn't that charming?

Father God, teach me some nonchalance with seeking my way in life. Perhaps that is called faith.
