Bernadette was at the age of 14 years the only visionary of our Lady of Lourdes (Mary). She appeared to be a trustworthy witness. Her testimony was tested, examined and believed by the Catholic Church. She became a saint because of her pure character.

Keep it simple

Bernadette kept her testimony simple. She did not add details to convince or please others. She was who she was. I admire her humility.
