1 Corinthians 14:27-28 Tongues And Interpretation 29 July 2024
1Co 14:27 If there are to be any people speaking in a tongue,
then let there be only two, or at the most three,
and those one at a time, and let one of these interpret.
28 If there is no interpreter, then let each of them be quiet in the assembly, and speak only to himself
and God.

In a meeting, the gift of tongues should be used orderly.
Interpretation
One of those who speak in tongues should translate! Without interpreter, speaking in tongues in the meeting is not allowed.
People with a gift of discernment are always welcome.
Comment
This text could a very simple meaning. Some foreigners may speak in their own (natural) language as long as it is translated. That kind of translation is a gift as well.
Prayer
Jesus, thanks for the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the instructions around using those gifts.
