Perhaps in other words: 'love does not quit.'
No Choice
When I am disappointed with someone, it is easy to give up the relationship. I may become passive-aggressive. I may want to revenge.
Love however has no other choice than to refuse all those responses. That is a true gift. More than a my own strength.
Prayer
Jesus, I love the gift of love. Please give me strength.
