1Co 14:21 It says in the written Law:
In strange tongues and in a foreign language
I will talk to this nation,
and even so they will refuse to listen,
says the Lord.

This is a quote from Isaiah (22:11). It was directed to Ephraim, one of the twelve tribes of Israel. It appears that Saint Paul quotes it out of context.

God Likes To Speak

God may speak in unusual ways. And still Israel and I may refuse to listen. In no way am I better than Israel.

Prayer

Jesus, have mercy on Israel. Open their ears.
