1 Corinthians 14:29-30 Prophets Interrupted 30 July 2024

1Co 14:29 Let two prophets, or three,
speak while the rest weigh their words;
30 and if a revelation comes to someone else who is sitting by,
the speaker should stop speaking.

Prophets may speak. All hears discern their words. Another prophet may interrupt the first speaker. Perhaps leaders as well may interrupt the prophet.

Humble

We all, including prophets, need to have respect for God and what the Holy Spirit is doing. Prophets, even when trusted, need to make space for others. In fact, they should be the most humble of all.

Prayer

Jesus, make me humble and teachable.
