Matthew 17:22-23. Sadness and Entrusting 9 Jul 2023

Mat 17:22 When they were together in Galilee,
Jesus said to them,
'The Son of man is going to be delivered into the power of men;
23 they will put him to death,
and on the third day he will be raised up again.'
And a great sadness came over them.

I am intrigued that God places some things in the power of mankind. Even important things as the life of his Son.
I assume that he has entrusted not just Jesus, but the whole world into our hands.

Prayer

Jesus, what did and do you entrust to me to care for? At least I know the instruction to love. Teach me to seek and trust your helper, the Holy Spirit.
