Not far from our house I found a nice artwork showing some lost legs. I thought about Saint Paul who speaks in 1 Cor 12 about the body.

1 Cor 12, 27+26

Now Christ's body is yourselves, each of you with a part to play in the whole (body). If one part is hurt, all the parts share in the pain. And if one part is honoured, all the parts share in its joy.

The Legs

If the legs are not connected to a body, is that not strange? If I do not participate as a member of the church in the mission of the church, I am like the legs on the picture.
