Zechariah. Measuring. 2:5-6. 10 January 2025

Zec 2:5 Then, raising my eyes,
I had a vision.
There was a man with a measuring line in his hand.
6 I asked him,
'Where are you going?'
He said,
'To measure Jerusalem,
to calculate her width and length.'

Required To See A Vision

When I want to see a vision, I need to be active. The visionary raised his eyes. I must be willing to see. Perhaps I need to pray for a vision.
I am not familiar with visible visions. Nevertheless, I say often: 'I see!'

Why Measuring?

Measuring may indicate that God wants something to be exactly correct.
To know and report a size, I need to measure.

Prayer

Jesus, I ask you for visions that may benefit me and or others.
