Matthew 5:20. Surpass 4 Jan 2023

Mat 5:20 For I tell you, if your uprightness does not surpass that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never get into the kingdom of Heaven.

Yesterday, I noticed that some violations of the law alone were not hindering to arrive in the kingdom.
Today, I observe that a lack of uprightness may hinder more.

Prayer

Jesus, I ask for uprightness for our authorities.

I need to grow in uprightness. I guess that I am not better than scribes and pharisees.
